Puppies awaiting homes

Once again Penny was a champ and gave birth to them in the middle of the night (Of course! who needs sleep?) There are four males and two females! Four are brownish red and two are wild cards! Penny is a fantastic momma. The pups have teeth now and are starting to eat solid food. Momma is doing a great job, but she is weaning them slowly. They will be ready to go to their forever home May 18. All of this happens in the middle of my kitchen because we want to keep an eye on them and play with them as much as possible. We do this partly because we can’t keep our hands off of them and partly because we want them to be socialized, so they are ready for a human family of their own! By living in our home, they become used to family routines and schedules and being around people. This helps with potty training and socialization
